Description
Join our friendly Lab Tech and a community of young
learners in exploring how the technology around us works, and what we can do
with it. We provide an opportunity to get hands-on with practical
electronics, digital art, 3D modelling and printing, computer programming,
games design, video and audio recording and editing, and more. In anything from
recording a podcast to building a robot, this is a creative space where we
explore ideas from the ground up, and find practical and inventive solutions to
problems. If you're a complete beginner, we'll help you get started. And
if you already have some experience, then we'll give you the tools to progress
further. We're excited to see what you create! These sessions are aimed
towards home educated children. Suitable for people aged 7 - 14. Children under 14
must be accompanied by an adult. Booking is essential. TICKETS: £5 per child, per session. Book for the Term
to guarantee your place. Please note, all sales for paid
events are final. This includes ‘pay what you choose’. Refunds are only given
in limited circumstances: If the event has been rescheduled, postponed, or moved,
you can request a refund by cancelling your place online and
emailing [email protected]. Gloucestershire Libraries are committed to creating an
inclusive community and are working towards a place where everyone feels
welcome, safe and valued for who they are. Our events are for everyone: We

identity, race, ethnicity, age, religious beliefs or sexual orientation. If you
