We're excited to announce the theme for next year's challenge will be Tales Through Time!
The Library Challenge returns in 2026 with a brand new theme. Our county has a rich and varied heritage which we cant wait to share and explore further through the world of literature.
Across Gloucestershire this year, over 6,500 children signed up to The Library Challenge with approximately 2,400 children achieving Gold!
They checked out books, enjoyed nature, and learned new things all about the natural world. Libraries this summer were abuzz with over 200 Natural World activities and events.
