Celebrate Earth Day this month by learning about endangered birds in this interactive storytelling experience of the book The Emperor and the Nightingale by Hans Christian Anderson. Enjoy a classic fairy tale in a new way, through interactive storytelling, as dancer Marie-Louise portrays the Nightingale and invites participatory movement. Followed by a crafting activity for children. Each child will have the opportunity to design, make and take home their own magical bird mask.The narrative will be read by Steven Skinley and Nightingale portrayal and movement facilitation will be provided by Marie-Louise Flexen. Most suitable for ages 5-10. Children must be supervised by an adult. Only participating children require a ticket.
