Join us for a presentation from Mr Chris Auker-Howlett (Disabled British Army Veterans and War Outreach in Schools Lead, Gloucester Community Networking) that is aimed at helping children understand what the war was like and how it affected peoples every day lives.Longlevens Library presents a D-Day Experience from May 28 to June 10, where there will be a display including uniforms from the era, costumes for children to try on, books and more. Chris will judge a colouring competition with prizes awarded after the presentation.
