Description
The Wood without the Town is a one person show, written and performed by Edward Derbyshire, filled with music, storytelling, humour and adventure. Much of this is a story you may know. Join Bottom (from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream) on his journey as he narrates how it all began, muses upon the environment, falls into a daydream and finally brings his masterpiece, hidden for all these years in a bole of an oak tree in the forest, to fruition at last. Though, as we all know, the fairies at the bottom of the garden might have the last say…Suitable for all ages.
