Description
Join us this May for Dying Matters Awareness Week. This year's theme is The Culture of Dying Matters. Every year, people around the UK use the week as a moment to encourage all communities to get talking in whatever way. shape, or form works for them. Gloucestershire Registration Service and Sue Ryder will be visiting Cheltenham (8th May) and Quedgeley (9th May) libraries to help break down the stigma of talking about death and dying. They aim to provide information about what each service provides to reassure people of the support available. Registrars will be available to chat with any visitors who would like to drop by. We aim to demystify what happens in a register office when someone needs to register a death, and reassure people that they don’t need to feel worried about attending an appointment if they have to come to the register office in the future. No booking required, just drop in for a chat.
