Cheltenham Lab - How To Record Your Own Audiobook

Ever wondered how audiobooks are created?  Perhaps you are interested in recording yourself reading your favourite book?  If you are, this Lab taster session just might be for you.  During the taster, our Lab Tech will demonstrate how to use the audio recording equipment to record a short section of a book, how to layer in music and sound effects, and output the finished product.You are more welcome to bring along a book with you if you would like to record a paragraph of your choosing.Please note, spaces are limited so please book to confirm your place. Only book for the number of adults attending. Suitable for people aged 16 upwardsIf you are no longer able to attend please cancel your booking so that someone on the waiting list can enjoy the event. Gloucestershire Libraries are committed to creating an inclusive community and are working towards a place where everyone feels welcome, safe and valued for who they are.
