Description
Twit Whooo’s watching the Gloucestershire countryside by night? Find out at this hands-on owl discovery and craft session at Gloucester Library.
Join us for a fun and interactive activity all about owls that live in Gloucestershire. We’ll be doing a fact-finding scavenger hunt round the library, making owls and even an owl identification booklet that you can take home!
Suitable for children aged 5-10 years. Younger children will need support with reading the clues and we ask that adults stay with their children for the session. All materials provided.
This activity is being delivered as part of the Green Pledge Project at Gloucestershire Archives. During your visit, make sure you check out the Green Pledge Project exhibition on display in Gloucester Library from 20 August to 4 September.
Registration will open 3 weeks prior to the event. Booking is essential. Tickets are free and only required for participating children. If you cannot attend the event, please cancel your reservation so that someone else may attend.
Gloucestershire Libraries are committed to creating an inclusive community and are working towards a place where everyone feels welcome, safe and valued for who they are. Our events are for everyone: We welcome you whatever your socio-economic background, ability, gender, gender identity, race, ethnicity, age, religious beliefs or sexual orientation. If you have any access requirements or if you need further information about the event, please contact [email protected] ahead of the session.
