Stem explorers if curious code with two small robots in the bottom corners

Description

Thanks to digifest we are able to offer this 5 week coding course for home educated children, for free!

We're going to be coding micro:bit move robots to dance, draw, looking where they are going, follow a line and race. This is a very hands on workshop where the children will be shown how to use the block code editor and then given a task for their robot to complete, before showing off their work to the group. The final session will be a hilariously chaotic robo-rally where the children can put everything they've learned to good use and try to code the best racing robot.

Suitable for ages 7-16. Please note that children must be confident in reading basic words independently to enjoy this session.

There is plenty of opportunity for children to extend their learning if they find they move through the planned activities quickly.

Please note that this ticket is for all 5 sessions.
