Stem Explorers mechatronics

Description

Let's explore: Electricity and Robots!

Join in with these hands on science-play workshops led by our experienced lab tech, Seth.

In this series we will be working towards building our own robots. Sessions will cover:

  • Electricity and circuits
  • Common electrical components
  • Problem solving focused design
  • Iterative testing in engineering
  • Servos and motors
  • Basic coding
  • Using Radio Frequencies to pass information between electronic controllers

It sounds complicated, but don't worry! Sessions will be presented in fun, bitesize bits with plenty of hands on activities, giving your child control of their learning.

As a guide, these sessions are suitable for ages 7 - 12, but we appreciate that children develop at their own pace.

If your child is under 8, or at the request of a member of staff, a parent or guardian over the age of 16 must stay with the child throughout the session.

Please note, spaces are limited so please book to confirm your place. TICKETS: £5.00
