Author Talk with Lois Kingscott: Adventures with Dave the Horse

Step into the world of children’s author Lois Kingscott, whose charming Dave and Darcy picture book series is inspired by her real-life horse, Dave—a beloved friend at Cotswold Riding for the Disabled (RDA).

Lois, will share a reading from her books, talk about how Dave’s personality and journey at RDA has shaped her writing, and answer any questions you may have about horses, writing or Dave himself! 

From beach adventures to birthday parties, Dave’s real-life antics have become the heart of stories that delight children aged 3–7.

Sadly, Dave won't be there to meet as he is busy working with the Cotswold Riding for the Disabled during the week (and probably wouldn’t fit in the library!)
