Description

Would you like to make new friends? Would you like to learn new things in a welcoming, informal and fun environment?  Why not come along to a new club for older people at Gloucester Library on the last Thursday of the month.

The aim of this group is to hold a different session each month on a wide variety of subjects. These would take the form of a talk, a discussion or, occasionally, even a local guided tour.  Sessions start at 10:30 with coffee and a chance to chat and get to know the other members of the group, with a more formal session starting promptly at 11:00 for one hour.  Pop in and have a chat with our staff for details.

Booking is essential.  If you cannot attend the event, please cancel your reservation so that someone else may attend.

Gloucestershire Libraries are committed to creating an inclusive community and are working towards a place where everyone feels welcome, safe and valued for who they are. Our events are for everyone: We welcome you whatever your socio-economic background, ability, gender, gender identity, race, ethnicity, age, religious beliefs or sexual orientation. If you have any access requirements or if you need further information about the event, please contact [email protected] ahead of the session.
